Behind the prefix VESPINJA'S
My life with dogs started in the late 1980's when I was still a teenager.
After a pressure of several years my parents finally agreed to buy me a Whippet puppy, a beautiful fawn brindle male Kulta-Haukku Borax a.k.a Niki
who was my devoted friend for 12 years. Niki finished his champion title easily and was also trained to obedience. Unfortunately his owner was
not as skilled as he was... Although I owned and loved this wonderful breed for over 20 years I have never bred any
litter, and most of my Whippets have been males. Unfortunately my last Whippet passed away in February 2011.

The first Cirneco dell'Etna arrived to my home and life in 1999 when the very first Finnish bred litter was born at Giltedged kennel.
Little Immu was later known as Int & Multi Ch Multi Winner Giltedged Implication, one of the top winning Cirnechi in Scandinavia
during early 2000's and sire of several champions. Immu won the FCI European LC Championship in 2006 and is still the only Cirneco gained this title.
The very first Vespinja's litter was born in May 2003 when I bred my lovely Sicilian import Int Ch Vespina
with a French gentleman Int Ch Jericho-Jamis de Percyval. From that litter I kept Int Ch Vespinja's Azalea who prodeced my D-litter in 2006.
Vespina, our pack leader and a spoiled Queen of the house, is now retired but I am happy to follow her offspring all over the world: besides Scandinavia and several other European countries
Vespina's grandchildren are found in Russia, USA, Canada and even in Australia.
I breed in a very small scale, maybe a litter a year and sometimes not even that one. All my dogs live as pets
and sleep in beds and sofas and the puppies born in my bedroom. I live in countryside with a large fenced yard to dogs to run and play in and
the dogs and I enjoy long walks in forests around our house. As I don't want to keep a big amount of dogs at home and I have placed several dogs to co-ownership.
That's how they all get a lot of love and attention and I can choose the best ones for breeding.
My breeding
stock is officially health tested (eyes & knees) and awarded in shows and most of them have been succesfull
in lure coursing as well. My number 1 priority in breeding is well-balanced (both mentally and physically) healthy dogs with type and temperament.
I have imported dogs from Sicily, Norway, USA and UK.
