My hobby started with Whippets in the 80's. Even if I've owned and loved them for over 20 years I have never bred any
litter, and most of my Whippets have been males. Nowadays I have a Whippet bitch as a mascot but still no breeding plans
with this breed.
The first Cirneco arrived to my home and life in '99 when the very first Finnish bred litter was born at Giltedged kennel.
He was Int & Multi Ch Multi Winner Giltedged Implication. I am very grateful to his breeder Pia Friman for all help and
advices during these years.
My first litter was born in May 2003 when I bred my Sicilian import Int Ch Vespina with a French gentleman Int Ch Jericho-Jamis
de Percyval. From that litter I kept Int Ch Vespinja's Azalea who prodeced my D-litter in 2006. I breed in a very small scale, maybe a litter a year and sometimes not even that one. All my dogs live as pets
and sleep in beds and sofas. Altough I live in countryside with a lot of yard to dogs to run and play, I don't want to keep
a big amount of dogs at home and that's why some of my breedings and imports have been placed to co-ownership. My breeding
stock is officially health tested (eyes & heart & knees) and awarded in shows and most of them have been succesfull
in lure coursing as well.
I have imported five Cirnechi to Finland: my foundation bitch Int Ch Vespina from Sicily
together with Inka Luomanmaki,
Int Ch Are But Not's Frodo B and Ch Are But Not's Eternal Embrace from Norway,
Anharbn Yellow River from UK and Sambuca Fulvia from the USA together with
Marita Kilpivaara.
If you're interested in my dogs or breeding, please don't hestitate to contact!
